Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has backed Kevin Davies to remain in the Premier League, even if Bolton Wanderers are relegated today.
The Trotters must beat Stoke at the Britannia Stadium to have any chance of staying up.
Davies is out of contract in the summer but Pulis is convinced that the 35-year-old has a future in England's top division.
He told The Mirror: "Kevin won't struggle for offers this summer, that's for sure.
"It will be interesting to see what Bolton do, regardless of how it finishes for them.
"I've always considered Kevin was as good as anything in the Premier League for the type of player he is."
Davies has scored 66 goals in 315 league appearances during nine years at the Reebok Stadium.
