Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross has claimed that his side "can beat any team" in the Premier League after the Potters moved out of the relegation zone.
A brace from Xherdan Shaqiri helped Mark Hughes's side to all three points from their trip to Hull City on Saturday afternoon, lifting them up to 16th in the table.
Stoke had endured a disappointing start to the season, taking just three points from their opening seven games, but have now claimed back-to-back victories and are undefeated in four.
"After a difficult start we have come back strong," Shawcross told reporters at the KCOM Stadium today.
"We have some quality players and when we play like that we can beat any team in this league.
"Xherdan Shaqiri is an international player, he has won the Champions League and if we get him in position he can show that."
Stoke next welcome struggling Swansea City to the Britannia on October 31.
