Stoke City have played out a 0-0 draw with West Bromwich Albion at the Brittania Stadium this afternoon.
In a first half of few chances, Saido Berahino held off a challenge to play in Stephane Sessegnon and the Benin international took a snap-shot that flew wide of the Stoke goal.
Both goalkeepers were called into action when Asmir Begovic saved well from Sessegnon after 18 minutes, before Boaz Myhill saved Jonathan Walters's shot as the striker fell over when hitting it.
Marko Arnautovic had a bright first half and he went close with an effort after he was set up by Oussama Assaidi with a looped cross on 41 minutes.
Charlie Adam tried an outrageous attempt from the half-way line in the second half, but Myhill was alert to keep the effort out from the Scot, before applauding him for his ingenuity, after 70 minutes.
