Stoke City have agreed to let Cameron Jerome join Crystal Palace on a season-long loan deal.
Jerome, who joined Stoke from Birmingham City in 2011, has found himself behind Peter Crouch, Kenwyne Jones and Jonathan Walters in the battle for a place in attack for the Potters.
Palace manager Ian Holloway moved quickly to bring Jerome to a team that were promoted from the Championship last season.
The 27-year-old forward was expected to be joined at Selhurst Park by Andy Johnson, but Palace failed to complete a deal for the Queens Park Rangers striker.
Jerome has scored 12 goals in 60 appearances for Stoke.
