Rijeka have secured a place in the group stages of the Europa League following a 2-2 draw against Stuttgart this evening.
The Croatian side, who led 2-1 from the first leg, scored a stoppage-time goal through Goran Mujanovic to seal their progression into the next stage.
Stuttgart, under the management of new boss Thomas Schneider for the first time, began to put pressure on their opponents in search of the goal which would level the tie.
However, it was Rijeka who extended their aggregate lead through Leon Benko on 30 minutes.
Christian Gentner pulled a goal back for Stuttgart four minutes later with a powerful strike into the top corner of the net.
Anas Sharbini had an opportunity to put Rijeka back in front just before half time, but his effort was blocked by goalkeeper Sven Ulreich.
The hosts levelled the aggregate score with 15 minutes remaining when Vedad Ibisevic converted Ibrahima Traore's cross from close range.
The match looked to be heading into extra time, but Rijeka booked their place in the next stage of the competition in dramatic fashion when Mujanovic slotted a composed finish beyond Ulreich.
