Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher believes that his current goalscoring form is the best of his career to date.
The Scottish forward netted his fifth goal in as many games in the Black Cats' 1-0 victory over Wigan Athletic this afternoon, the Wearside outfit's first Premier League victory of the season.
"I think this is the richest form I have been in. When I came here I knew we would get chances and I've just been putting them away," he said.
"We want to push on now, we have a win and seven points and we can take that into next week."
Fletcher joined Sunderland from Wolverhampton Wanderers for a reported £14m fee this summer.
