Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher has insisted that the uncertainty surrounding the future of manager Dick Advocaat is not impacting on the team.
The Dutchman refused to confirm that he will remain in charge following his side's 2-2 draw with West Ham United, but the Scot claims this did not affect the game's outcome.
"The gaffer has been the same as usual, we have been working hard in training to get a performance like that," BBC Sport quotes Fletcher as saying.
"The first half we could have had a few more goals and we were unlucky to concede close to half time so on that behalf we showed we had a fighting spirit."
The draw moves Sunderland off the bottom of the table on goal difference.
