Sunderland winger James McClean has been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad for next week's friendly encounter with the Czech Republic.
Ireland coach Giovanni Trappatoni had originally left the 22-year-out of his squad for the match, which was named last week.
However, the Italian boss has now decided that McClean warrants a place in the playing party, along with Derby County midfielder Paul Green.
McClean joined Sunderland in the summer from Derry City.
