Sunderland's on-loan left-back Danny Rose has revealed that he intends to start pushing forward more after his somewhat reserved start with the club.
Rose, who joined Sunderland for the season from Tottenham Hotspur, has said that his manager Martin O'Neill has urged him to attack more.
"For the first two games I think I could have got forward a lot more than I did," Rose told Sunderland's official site.
"The gaffer told me he wanted me to get forward a bit more and that's a part of the game I really enjoy.
"I'm going to try and [get forward] in the games to come."
Rose has made three league starts for Sunderland this season.
