The agent of Emanuele Giaccherini has insisted that the attacking midfielder is happy at Sunderland after reports recently linked him with a move back to Serie A.
Rumours in Italy have claimed that Napoli are considering making a move for Giaccherini as they look to replace the injured Lorenzo Insigne, but the 29-year-old's representative has indicated that a transfer is unlikely.
"I think Insigne is much more of a striker than Giaccherini is," Furio Valcareggi told Italian radio station Crc.
"It could be that he has been included in a shortlist of possible replacements for Insigne, but I'm not aware of it.
"Having said this, he is very happy at Sunderland, although we are flattered by the Napoli link."
Giaccherini moved to Sunderland from Juventus on a four-year deal in July 2013.
