Arsenal are reportedly lining up a January move for Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been impressed by the recent form of current number one Wojciech Szczesny, however the Frenchman is understood to have lost faith in deputy stoppers Lukasz Fabianski and Vito Mannone.
According to The Metro, Mignolet is top of Wenger's shortlist and a bid in the region of £5m is in the pipeline.
Mignolet, 24, has featured in all 18 of the Black Cats' Premier League games this season, conceding 24 goals in the process.
