Swansea City have decided to appeal the red card which was handed to midfielder Leroy Fer during Saturday's FA Cup tie with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Championship outfit had already had Ruben Vinagre sent off during the first half at Molineux, before referee Anthony Taylor dismissed Fer for a cynical trip on Helder Costa.
The decision has been widely criticised, with Fer acting to stop a counter-attack on the halfway line rather than his challenge being considered dangerous, and as expected, Swansea have launched an appeal.
As it stands, Fer faces the prospect of a three-match suspension, which would see him miss Premier League games with Newcastle United and Liverpool, as well as the replay with Wolves at the Liberty Stadium.
Saturday's fixture ended in a goalless draw, despite both sides creating a number of opportunities in the West Midlands.
