Former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba will hand over the League Cup to either Swansea City or Bradford City at Wembley this weekend.
The Premier League and League Two outfits go up against each other at the home of English football on Sunday, and Muamba, who was forced to retire from the game following a cardiac arrest last season, has been chosen as tournament sponsor Capital One's guest of honour.
As well as presenting the trophy, the 24-year-old will be introduced to both teams ahead of kickoff and will watch the game from the Royal Box, according to BBC Sport.
Muamba's heart stopped for 78 minutes when he collapsed at White Hart Lane during an FA Cup battle between Bolton and Tottenham Hotspur last season.
