New Swansea City midfielder Jose Canas has praised the club's supporters.
Despite the fact that their side were comfortably defeated 4-1 by Manchester United on Saturday afternoon, the Welsh fans continued to get behind their team.
Ahead of Thursday's Europa League qualifier against Romanian side Petrolul Ploiesti, Canas has called upon those that attend the Liberty Stadium to create a similar atmosphere.
"The support, even when we were 2-0 and 3-0 down, was amazing. I looked around and the fans were signing as if we were winning the game," he told the club's official website.
"If they can be the same against Petrolul that will really help the team. We want to win the game not only because we want to go to Romania with an advantage, but we also want to forget the result against Manchester United. I think the supporters are very important in helping us achieve that."
Canas joined the Swans earlier this summer on a free transfer from Real Betis.
