Swansea City midfielder Tom Carroll has admitted that poor finishing cost his side during Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Stoke City.
The Swans wasted a number of chances in the first half at the Britannia Stadium as Stoke came from behind to claim the points in the Premier League encounter.
Carroll, who is currently on a season-long loan from Tottenham Hotspur, believes that Swansea could have earned a share of the spoils if they were more clinical in front of goal.
"We're all disappointed with the result. It was a bit scrappy at times but we created good chances early on and if we had taken them then it could have been a different game," he told the club's official website.
"It's never nice to concede so soon before half time, and we probably would have taken a point towards the end but it wasn't to be."
Swansea are back in action on Saturday when they host Leicester City in the Premier League.
