Swansea City striker Danny Graham has admitted that competition for places within the squad is healthy for the Welsh outfit.
New Swans boss Michael Laudrup recently claimed that he intends to bring new additions to the Liberty Stadium as well as let go of a number of senior players.
"I say bring them in," Wales Online quotes Graham as saying. "We need a big squad.
"I said last year it does not matter where the gaffer wants to strengthen it's fine with me.
"Competition for places is what we need and it keeps everyone on their toes. If he brings another striker in that's fine, it's up to me to make sure I am working hard to be on the pitch come three o'clock on Saturday."
Meanwhile, reports have claimed that league champions Manchester City are prepared to launch an improved £8m bid for Scott Sinclair.
