Swansea City boss Garry Monk has revealed that his side are relishing the tough task at hand in their Premier League opener against defending champions Chelsea.
The Swans defeated Manchester United at Old Trafford on the opening day of the last campaign when goals from Ki Sung-yueng and Gylfi Sigurdsson fired them to the three points.
Monk has declared that his side are not afraid of the challenge posed by Jose Mourinho's men when they travel to Stamford Bridge.
He told reporters: "It doesn't come any tougher than this start, going to the home of the champions. But we will relish the challenge and try to come away having put on a good performance.
"We've put a lot of hard work in during pre-season. The new signings came in early, so we have had the group together to prepare for a good five or six weeks, and we're looking forward to the season now.
"If we can put in a good performance and take that into the rest of the season, it would be great."
Swansea take on the Blues at 5.30pm.
