Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has hinted that he is keen to strengthen his goalkeeping department at the start of January.
Michel Vorm is scheduled to undergo knee surgery at the turn of the year, leaving Gerhard Tremmel and 18-year-old Gregor Zabret as his two other options, and Laudrup has admitted that he isn't keen on throwing his teenage stopper into the first team.
The 49-year-old told reporters: "If something happens to Gerhard, we would have to play with Zabret, who is not experienced and that is not good for him or the team.
"Michel's knee is swollen and we will have to make a decision about surgery. It is frustrating for him because he plays a game and he doesn't know what the reaction will be."
Vorm has played 16 times for the Swans this season, while Tremmel has deputised on 10 occasions.
