Garry Monk has described summer signing Andre Ayew as "incredible" after he scored on his Premier League debut for Swansea City.
The Ghana international, who joined the Welsh side on a free transfer from Marseille, netted the Swans first goal in the 2-2 draw with champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The manager told reporters: "He's come in and he's been incredible.
"He's worked extremely hard with the group, the group have worked hard with him to get him settled and it's always good for a new player when you come into a new league, even though we knew he has great quality, to get that first goal. It will give him great confidence."
Ayew scored 10 goals for Marseille last season.
