Garry Monk has insisted that Nathan Dyer is still "a big part" of the Swansea City team, despite leaving the winger out of the last three matchday squads.
Dyer began the season as a regular starter, but has struggled to make the team recently due to the form of Wayne Routledge, Jefferson Montero and Modou Barrow.
"Nathan had a fantastic start to the season, he had a little dip and then he came back a bit. He has probably been a bit more inconsistent but he has still contributed fantastically to the team. There are no problems whatsoever with Nathan," Monk told Sky Sports News.
"He has contributed a lot this season, he is a fantastic player to work with and someone who is at a very good level. He is a big part of what I am doing here but there are moments within seasons here you miss out."
Dyer has scored three goals in 18 Premier League appearances this season.
