Nelson Oliveira has spoken of his relief following his first goal in Swansea City colours.
The 23-year-old joined the Swans on a six-month loan deal from Benfica in January, but he had failed to score in any of his nine appearances.
However, the striker broke his duck at St James' Park on Saturday afternoon as the Welsh side ran out 3-2 winners.
"I'm very happy also because I needed this goal. It gives me confidence and it was a goal that helped the team win," he told the club's official website.
"Being a striker, you can work hard and have a good game but not score. This time I scored, so I am very happy to score my first goal for Swansea."
The Portuguese international is contracted to Benfica until the summer of 2018.
