Gus Poyet has reportedly signalled his interest in the vacant managerial role at Swansea City.
Earlier this week, Swansea made the decision to sack Garry Monk, who had won just once in 11 matches, and his dismissal soon resulted in a number of high-profile names being linked with a move to the Liberty Stadium.
However, to coincide with being named as favourite with the bookmakers, BBC Sport claims that the former Sunderland boss, and current AEK Athens manager, is 'interested' in returning to the Premier League.
Poyet was only appointed as boss of the Greek side at the end of October, and has won four of his six matches in charge.
