Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers has hailed 'brilliant' midfielder Leon Britton, despite his diminutive size.
Britton joined the Swan on loan in 2002 and has gone on to make over 300 appearances in all four divisions for the club, despite a brief stint at Sheffield United.
"I suppose the traditional British outlook on players is that they have to be over six foot, quick and strong," Rodgers said.
"Leon, along with a number of others, showed a wonderful demonstration of technique, talent and an ability to pass.
"He's about two stone soaking wet, so he cannot really tackle, but what he does brilliantly, is screen and block."
Swansea are currently 12th in the Premier League with 18 points from 16 games.
