Swansea City have reportedly opened talks with American millionaire John Moores about possible investment in the Premier League club.
In September, chairman Huw Jenkins claimed that the Welsh outfit were falling behind their competitors in terms of commercial income.
After reports emerged claiming that Moores, who previously owned the San Diego Padres Major League Baseball franchise, was in contact with the Welsh club, Jenkins refused to confirm or deny the news.
"Until there is actually a bit more detail and more definite information to give, this is pure speculation," BBC Sport quotes Jenkins as saying. "There is a level of confidentiality that has to remain until there is a bit more to give."
The Swans are currently sixth in the Premier League table.
