Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins is to meet with Hoffenheim bosses in a bid to secure the services of on loan midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson on a permanent basis.
The Welsh club are hoping to negotiate a new deal for the Icelandic star after having a £4m bid rejected by the Bundesliga outfit.
Sigurdsson has been on loan at the Liberty Stadium all season, scoring seven goals in 17 starts for Brendan Rogers's team.
Hoffenheim signed the playmaker from Rogers's former club Reading for £6.5m in 2010. He has previously expressed interest in remaining at Swansea.
Swansea are expected to have money to spend this summer after earning £45.9m for finishing in 11th place in the Premier League, BBC Sport understands.
