Swansea City will reportedly confirm Graham Potter as their new manager this week.
The Ostersunds FK head coach has entered a "verbal agreement" to take over at the Welsh club and will be officially announced as their boss on Friday, according to Swedish outlet Expressen.
The Englishman is expected to take his backroom team of assistant manager Billy Reid and scout Kyle Macaulay with him to Swansea.
Ostersunds chairman Daniel Kindberg previously claimed that the Swans had not made contact with Potter, but the latest reports suggest he has attended an interview with the club's hierarchy and emerged as the frontrunner to fill their managerial vacancy.
Swansea, who dismissed Carlos Carvalhal as head coach when he failed to keep them in the Premier League, are said to be working on a compensation deal with Ostersunds so the appointment can be finalised.
