Swansea City striker Eder has revealed that he is hopeful of retaining his starting place for the club's Premier League clash against Liverpool.
The 27-year-old made his first start in the top flight against Bournemouth when the Swans rallied from a two-goal deficit to earn a point against the Cherries.
Eder believes that he made good strides in the contest, and feels that he will improve with further action from the opening whistle.
He told the club's official website: "It was really good to start the game. It was also nice to play at the Liberty Stadium, the fans are great here and hopefully I can start a few more games now and play well.
"If you don't play games then you can't get used to the rhythm of the matches. But that will come in time through hard work. Sometimes it is frustrating, but if you focus and work hard then your chance will come."
Swansea play Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
