Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has stated his belief that the club will not be involved in a relegation battle this season.
The Swans have not won any of their last six Premier League matches and sit four points outside the bottom three, in 13th place.
Laudrup has said that the players remain confident they will improve their fortunes.
"As I long as I can see that there's a lot of confidence in the team then I'm not worried," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.
"I have a lot of respect for the numbers and it could be moments when we are just a few points away from that bottom three."
Swansea will take a break from league action this weekend when they face Manchester United in the third round of the FA Cup.
