Swansea City warmed up for their Premier League opener against Chelsea next week by drawing with Deportivo La Coruna.
The South Wales outfit almost edged in front early on when Bafetimbi Gomis played a one-two with Jonjo Shelvey before the ex-Lyon striker fired narrowly wide.
Midway through the first half, Shelvey himself was inches away from breaking the deadlock when his sweetly-struck drive was a fraction away from dipping under the crossbar.
Late in the half, Shelvey was again threatening to score as his effort needed to be palmed away by Fabricio Agosto.
Depor came close to taking the lead midway through the second period after Oriol Riera's header was inches away from nestling in the back of the net.
Jefferson Montero tried to snatch victory for the Swans, but his late effort was tipped away by Agosto as both sides settled for a draw.
