Swansea City boss Garry Monk has revealed that striker Bafetimbi Gomis has courted interest from elsewhere, but plans on keeping the Frenchman.
Speculation is rife that Emirates side Al Ahli are keen on the 29-year-old, who joined the Swans on a Bosman last summer after his Lyon contract expired.
The France international reportedly has a £7m release clause included in his deal.
"That club made contact with the us and made an enquiry," he told Wales Online. "That's no problem, that happens.
"But Bafe is a Swansea City player. We are looking forward to working with him and him hopefully having a productive season."
Gomis, whose contract expires in 2018, netted 10 times in all competitions last term, having spent much of the season behind Wilfried Bony - who left in January - in the pecking order.
