Sydney FC came from a goal down to secure a point against local rivals Western Sydney Wanderers, thanks to a Bernie Ibini-Isei solo run and strike.
The hosts broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark as Tomi Juric finished off a neat passing move inside the box.
The Sky Blues responded quickly as Ibini-Isei picked up the ball in the Wanderers' half, ran through the defence and thundered the ball past Ante Covic in goal.
The visitors came closest to winning the derby as Marc Janko's free kick struck the crossbar in the last minute.
The Wanderers are still waiting for their first league win of the season as they sit ninth in the table.
Sydney FC, who remain unbeaten, stay in fourth after failing to capitalise on Perth Glory's draw with Brisbane Roar.
