The first round of the Copa del Rey will see Tardienta welcome La Liga outfit Getafe to Campo Municipal de Deportes Santa Quiteria on Wednesday evening.
The visitors are currently in eighth place with 12 points in the top flight of Spanish League football, while the hosts are 18th in the sixth tier.
Match preview
After successfully navigating their first season back in the top flight last term, Getafe have made a positive start to the current campaign and will be hoping to do likewise in this competition.
The Deep Blue Ones come into this match following a stalemate against Mallorca, which was their fifth consecutive league draw and sixth match without a victory.
While Jose Bordalas's side may have hoped for more than a point against the likes of Celta Vigo and Mallorca during that run, they would still be relatively pleased with the fact that they avoided defeat in their last three matches on the road.
Getafe reached back-to-back finals in this competition between 2006 and 2008 but lost the first of those 1-0 to Sevilla, while Valencia overcame them the following season 3-1.
The visitors will head into this match as huge favourites, and Bordalas will be looking for a solid result to give his side a boost in confidence ahead of an important lower-table clash against Cadiz this weekend.
Meanwhile, this is set to be a momentous occasion for Tardienta, who will be making their first-ever appearance in this competition.
While the Regional Preferente – Group 1 side will relish the opportunity to rub shoulders with top-flight players, they will also want to give a good account of themselves and for the capacity crowd of 2000 that is expected to fill up Campo Municipal de Deportes Santa Quiteria.
However, the hosts are not in the best of form at the moment as they find themselves firmly set in the relegation zone in their domestic league and winless in their last four matches.
Tardienta's only league win this season came in the opening week of the competition when they beat Atletico Binefar 2-0, while the only other victory they have tasted this term was their preliminary round triumph over Zirauki.

Team News
Barring any late injuries, Diego Perez is likely to field an unchanged side to the one that he put out against Ziraki in the preliminary round.
In the visitors dugout, Bordalas will look to give a few of his fringe players a chance to impress here ahead of their weekend encounter against Cadiz.
Juanmi Latasa was hooked after 60 minutes last weekend but should get another chance to show his ability alongside Borja Mayoral.
Gaston Alvarez (muscle), Damian Suarez (muscle), Mauro Arambarri (ACL) and Enes Unal have all been ruled out of this match through injury.
Tardienta possible starting lineup:
Martin; Perez, Ortega, Mombiela, Quintana; Coll, Arbues, Sayas, Guerrero; Achampong; Romero
Getafe possible starting lineup:
Soria; Djene, Duarte, Carmona, Rico; Alena, Milla, Rodriguez, Lozano; Latasa, Mayoral
We say: Tardienta 0-3 Getafe
While the visitors have been far from impressive this season, they will still be expecting to dominate this match. There should be a fair few changes to the regular Getafe lineup, which could allow the hosts an opportunity or two, but we are still expecting Geta Azulones to win this one comfortably.
