Torino manager Giampiero Ventura has slammed the club's fans for booing the side during their Serie A match against Sassuolo.
A late goal from Antonio Floro Flores saw the Turin outfit fall to a 1-0 defeat, but Ventura believed that his side deserved more from the game.
"At a certain stage of the game I heard insults from the stands for a team that has more points than last season and had created eight or nine scoring opportunities," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"If we had won this game, nobody could've said it wasn't deserved. It is difficult to comment on these situations, as the environment around us certainly wasn't favourable.
"We need to focus on working, though some people need to reflect. Sassuolo are a good team, but we created so many chances. In my view we do not have the necessary calm and confidence to do more."
Torino are next in action when they face Belgian outfit Club Brugge in the Europa League on Thursday.
