Sebastian Giovinco netted a first-half brace to help Toronto FC secure a 3-1 victory over the Colorado Rapids.
Damien Perquis scored the host's third goal inside the opening 45 minutes, putting the game to bed before Dillon Powers responded before the break.
Giovinco scored his 18th goal of the season and his first of the match after just 10 minutes, as his right-footed shot from outside the box found the bottom left of the Rapids net.
Shortly after, he added his second of the game in similar circumstances, as Jonathan Osorio squared it to the Italian before rifling a shot into the opposite corner.
Toronto were in complete control after gaining the lead and pushed on for a third, as Damien Perquis connected with Giovinco's cross to head it past Rapids goalkeeper Clinton Irwin.
Powers did manage to pull one back shortly before the break but any sort of comeback looked unlikely as Toronto ran out 3-1 winners.
The win puts Toronto fifth in the Eastern Conference, while the Colorado Rapids stay rooted to the bottom of the Western Conference.
