Toronto have defeated Montreal Impact 2-1 in the MLS after goals from Michael Bradley and Jozy Altidore.
Dominic Oduro missed the target from the right side of the penalty area and Laurent Ciman had a shot saved in the opening 10 minutes.
Sebastian Giovinco shot wide at the other end six minutes later, before Maxim Tissot fired over the bar and Donny Toia continued to waste chances for Montreal.
Toronto made Montreal pay for their inaccuracy in the 35th minute when Bradley netted his fourth goal of the season.
Giovinco tested Eric Kronberg before half time but his long-range effort was saved in the bottom right corner.
Toronto looked like the most likely team to score in the second half as well and Altidore doubled their lead in the 55th minute.
Jonathan Osorio nearly made it three less than a minute later, but his shot rebounded off the crossbar.
The game opened up in the final 20 minutes, with Altidore and Osorio both missing the target for Toronto.
Dominic Oduro tested Chris Konopka in the 68th minute but his shot was saved but the striker got the better of Konopka six minutes later though, and pulled a goal back for Montreal.
Montreal's hopes of a comeback were dashed in the 77th minute when Ciman was shown a straight red card.
