Udinese's stuttering start to the season has continued with a 0-0 draw against Genoa on Sunday.
The home side might have taken the lead after just two minutes when Danilo met an Andrea Lazzari corner, but his header smashed onto the crossbar.
Chances remained few and far between as the half advanced, although Marco Davide Faraoni struck wide for Udinese just before the break.
Genoa's best chance of the second period fell to Andrea Bertolacci after 56 minutes, but his strike from outside the box moved wide of the target.
Both sides had chances to win it in the latter stages, but neither could make the breakthrough as the points were shared.
