The Vancouver Whitecaps and Dallas played out a 2-2 draw in their MLS clash at Empire Field this evening.
The hosts took the lead in the 11th minute when Darren Mattocks raced onto Gershon Koffie's through-ball, before slotting an effort past Raul Fernandez.
Just before the half-hour mark Dallas eqaulised through Blas Perez, who fired in from close range after Zach Loyd's header had come back off the crossbar.
The visitors then took the lead in the 39th minute when Carlyle Mitchell gave away a penalty following a handball inside the box and Michel stepped up to score from the spot.
After the break the hosts drew level with a penalty of their own through Pedro Morales, who scored from the spot after Moises Hernandez had handled inside the box.
Mattocks and Morales came close to scoring for the hosts late on, but they could not find the net as the match finished level.
