Hellas Verona held a strong Roma side to a goalless draw in their first Serie A game of the season and now play host to Udinese.
Udinese - who finished 13th last season - are among the teams who have yet to play their first league fixture and will be hoping for a positive start.
Match preview
Verona enjoyed a comfortable season last term, finishing ninth in the league - 14 points clear of the relegation zone and 17 off the European places.
Their opening 0-0 draw against a Roma side that finished fifth last term is a positive result, particularly given Roma won both of their league meetings last season.
Even more positive for Verona is the fact that they have been awarded a 3-0 victory in that game due to the fact that Roma made a clerical error over the listing of Amadou Diawara.
Verona will hope to build on that and better last season's results against Udinese - a pair of draws - and pick up a first win of the season in the process.
The gap in the table between them and Udinese last term is misleading, as Sunday's visitors trailed Verona by just four points at the end of the campaign.
Udinese will hope to exploit the fact that, despite Verona's reasonably high finish last term, they were the fifth-lowest scorers in the division.
However, Udinese scored even fewer than Verona's paltry tally of 47, notching just 37 times as the third-lowest scorers in the league.
Both teams' success came by virtue of their decent defensive records, which were the joint-eighth best in Serie A last season, shipping 51 goals in 38 games.
As a result, this could end up being a close, low-scoring affair as both sides play a more cautious game.

Team News
Verona head coach Ivan Juric has four players set to be sidelined until next month at least.
Andrea Danzi, Alan Empereur, Giangiacomo Magnani and Darko Lazovic are the quartet on the injury table for the hosts.
The former two started against Roma, meaning Juric will be forced into some changes.
Udinese boss Luca Gotti also has a quartet of injuries to contend with, although some of that list may recover in time to feature.
Rolando Mandragora and Mato Jajalo were expected to have recovered by now, but are not quite fit yet.
Meanwhile, Jens Larsen and Bram Nuytinck are doubts. Rodrigo De Paul has been linked with a move to Leeds United and may also not feature.
Hellas Verona possible starting lineup:
Silvestri; Cetin, Gunter, Lovato; Faraoni, Veloso, Tameze, Dimarco; Tameze, Tupta; Di Carmine
Udinese possible starting lineup:
Musso; De Maio, Troost-Ekong, Samir; Larsen, De Paul, Walace, Fofana, Ouwejan; Lasagna, Okaka
We say: Hellas Verona 0-0 Udinese
Both sides have shown a propensity to play cautiously and both recorded poor attacking numbers last season. This one could be goalless.
