Chris Coleman: 'Wales have enough talent to beat Georgia without key duo'

Chris Coleman, already without creative midfielder Aaron Ramsey, is refusing to panic after losing Joe Allen to injury and says that Wales still boast plenty of talent.

Wales manager Chris Coleman has insisted that his side are "good enough" to maintain their impressive run to qualifying for the 2018 World Cup, even without two of their star players for the game with Georgia.

The Dragons head into Sunday evening's clash against the world's 137th-ranked side missing Aaron Ramsey and Joe Allen, who are both nursing injury problems.

Ramsey has already sat out Wales's first two qualifying games - a 4-0 win over Moldova and a 2-2 draw with Austria - while Allen picked up his knock in that entertaining four-goal clash in Vienna on Thursday.

Despite the absence of the creative talents in midfield, Coleman is confident that Wales can continue their march to Russia 2018 by picking up three more points on home soil this weekend in front of a packed Cardiff City Stadium crowd.

"We might have to try and get what we need in a different way," he told reporters. "A lot of things were said after [Euro 2016] about us going to the next level.

"I don't know why people expected for us to turn into Spain after six weeks without being together, but we were strong in Austria and our perspective is getting the job done. The players never let us down. We are without Aaron and Joe. No problem. We are good enough."

Wales are joint top of Group D after two games, alongside the Republic of Ireland, Austria and Serbia.
