Serbia dominated the first half in Cardiff to take a 2-0 lead into the break in their World Cup qualifier with Wales.
The visitors took the lead in just the eighth minute when Boaz Myhill parried Filip Duricic's powerful header into the path of Djordjevic, who headed into an empty net.
Serbia had an opportunity to double their lead midway through the first half but Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic failed to beat Myhill with a free header from 12 yards out.
Ljubomir Fejsa was gifted with a chance when Andrew Crofts lost possession in a dangerous area but his low effort was tipped round the post by Myhill.
The Welsh goalkeeper's resistance couldn't prevent Serbia from finding a second before half time as Aleksandar Kolarov took advantage of some space to fire the ball into the top corner of the net.
