Good afternoon all and thank you for joining us as we bring you live coverage of West Bromwich Albion's clash with visitors Watford at The Hawthorns in the Premier League.

Tony Pulis and his Baggies charges started the new season off brightly following back-to-back wins, but the Midlands club have since failed to pick up a single victory in their last four games in the top flight.

Things have been much more positive for Watford boss Marco Silva in his new role at the helm of the Hertfordshire club. Watford have won all three of their Premier League away matches this term. A victory today would then equal the club's longest away winning streak from the start of a domestic campaign.

Such has been Watford's resurgence under Silva, the Hornets have so far collected 11 points from six matches this season, which has proven to be their best start to a top-flight season since 1982.

One positive for Pulis after a testing start to the season is that his side still find themselves unbeaten at the Hawthorns. That said, Watford have often been a bit of a bogey side for the Baggies, who have failed to score in three of the past four matches against the Hornets in the league.

Right, time for some team news now...

As expected, the Baggies are pretty much at full-strength here despite the absences of Nacer Chadli and Oliver Burke through injury. Chadli has recovered in time to make the bench, but Burke is nowhere to be seen in the club's matchday squad. Pulis has opted to stick with his trusted attacking talents in the shape of Salomon Rondon and Matt Phillips. Winger Chris Brunt also features in the team as he makes his 350th appearance for the club this afternoon.

For the visiting Hornets, Silva has made just one change and that comes in attack as Andre Gray makes way for club legend Troy Deeney, who faces up to the club who were deemed to be in serious pursuit of the frontman during the summer transfer window. Richarlison continues for the visitors after making a standout start to life at the club in the early stages of the campaign.

The major stumbling block for Pulis this term has been his side's lack of creativity in the final third of the pitch. The Baggies have scored only four times in their six league matches and that will be a worry for the boss as they come up against this inventive Watford side.

A key component to Watford's success so far has been the presence of young Brazilian Richarlison. Not only has the playmaker been decisive in front of goal, the 20-year-old has been vital in winning key set-pieces going forward, while also being smart enough to earn vital moments of breathing space at crucial points in games. Richarlison has been fouled 20 times this season. The only player to be fouled more this season is Tottenham Hotspur youngster Dele Alli.

One flaw in Silva's plans since the summer has been Watford's inability to defend set-pieces and we all know how efficient a Pulis side can be when given the chance to deliver into the box. As things stand, Watford have four goals from set-pieces since matchday one, which represents the joint-highest total in the Premier League. Surely that statistic will be something that Pulis has considered in his plans going into this encounter.

Silva is more than aware of those frailties too and here is what he has had to say to reporters in the build-up to this contest: "We are expecting a tough game, everybody knows when West Brom plays at home, that will be the same for everybody. They are strong in specific moments of the match, like at set pieces, and are a really assertive team. We have started to build something important in our dressing room. The commitment I have felt and seen until now is really important."

In typical Pulis fashion, the Baggies coach has remained bullish in the wake of Watford's development over the summer. The West Brom manager has had this to say of the game: "Marco Silva has a better horse to ride this year than last year. He's been backed - they've spent quite a bit of money. They look a very capable team. It will be a tough game."

Obviously the major setback for Silva today is the absence of young playmaker Nathaniel Chalobah, who has been ruled out indefinitely following a troublesome knee injury. Perhaps his injury might just give a chance to the promising Will Hughes at some point in the coming weeks, but the youngster still finds himself on the bench this afternoon.

Across their last four meetings, Watford have claimed two victories and a draw, while the Baggies have picked up just one win which came via a 3-1 victory at the Hawthorns last campaign in December 2016.

PREDICTION! We have 15 minutes to go until kickoff now and it is time to make a prediction for the outcome of this game. Watford have been in impressive form on the road and they will likely cause Pulis some real cause for concern this afternoon. Having said that, the visitors' record on set pieces is poor and the home side might just be able to exploit that here. Goals are a major concern for Pulis, though, which might just result in a low-scoring affair. I'm backing Watford to pinch this game 2-1 on their travels, mainly because of the potential impact that Gray, Hughes and Pereyra could have from the bench.

The ground is starting to buzz now as we await the start of the contest. A win for the Baggies today would take them level on points with Watford, despite all of the buzz that has surrounded Silva's impressive start to life at Vicarage Road.

KICKOFF! Here we go then, Michael Oliver gets us underway here at the Hawthorns for what promising to be an intriguing game of football in the Midlands.

It's been an industrious start to the encounter as both sides try to get a foothold in the game. Adrian Mariappa is the man to make the game's first foul with a poor challenge right under the referee's nose.

West Brom are just starting to show glimpses going forward as Brunt breaks into space down the left flank. He moves forward unmarked although his cross into the box is rather tame and Watford hoof clear.

Watford have been comfortable in possession and now they aim to make it count on the edge of the Baggies box. There's lots of short and neat interchanging, but no way through for the visitors just yet.

Nice early pressure almost does the job for Watford as Holebas launches a throw deep into the West Brom box, where Evans has to battle well in order to head clear for a corner. The set-piece is poorly worked, though, leaving the home side to clear once more with relative ease. Silva looks a touch miffed on the sidelines after that one.

Rodriguez shows some impressive pressing on the Watford back-line as he hunts down Kabasele in defence. Thankfully the centre-back keeps his composure despite going to ground and is able to return the ball back to Gomes. Cagey thus far!

Too many long balls for the Baggies at the moment as they just don't seem to be sticking with Rondon up top, who is in turn giving possession straight back to Watford.

Possessional dominance is starting to grow for the visitors now, but the Baggies do really well to break forward on the counter. Phillips races away on the right and is able to cut a splitting ball back into the box, although Doucoure finds himself in the right place at the right time in order to make a vital interception.

Pure brilliance from Rondon out of nowhere gives the hosts the lead. Krychowiak turns a hopeful ball forward beyond the defence and Rondon does really well to latch onto it and hold off his man. Kabasele herds the frontman out towards the byline, but it is not enough as the striker somehow manages to lash beyond Gomes despite being held at the highest of angles. An incredible goal from Rondon!

Oh god, just look at Silva's face on the sidelines... West Brom earn themselves a corner and the ball is put towards the front post by Phillips. Doucoure is the first Watford man to react to the ball, although he can only divert his clearance towards the back post where Evans is left totally unmarked to head past a stranded Gomes. Woeful defending from the visitors and now the hosts hold a two-goal lead.

That just goes to show you that you can have all of the ball you want, but what you do with it is what counts in this league. Two chances for West Brom and they have two goals. Looking back at both of those replays and you have to argue that Gomes might have a lot to answer for too.

Watford are far too careless in possession in the middle and WBA seek to show their cutting edge again. This time the ball is robbed in the middle of the park and fed over the top for the run of Rodriguez. The forward brings the ball down and unleashes a first-time shot, which flashes high and wide of the goal.

Finally something from the visitors inside the box. Richarlison breaks free of his marker at the back post, but he can only guide his tame head back across the face of goal and into the grateful hands of Baggies stopper Foster.

Standout movement from Phillips inside the box almost sees the frontman run free before Kabasele comes across to head away from the corner. Brunt bends a perfect delivery into the box, where Hegazi climbs highest only to header over the crossbar. Gomes again looked stranded there.

CHANCE! Almost a route back into the contest for Watford and they are very unlucky here. Deeney proves to be the ideal hold-up man as he spins his marker to release Richarlison inside the box. The youngster somehow manages to chip a pass across the face of goal for Carrillo, who somehow heads over the crossbar with the goal at his mercy. A tough chance given the speed of the ball, but he should really score.

Another good chance for Watford to swing a ball into the box from Cleverley's free kick, but again Carrillo is wasteful in the area as he heads wide of the target unchallenged after Deeney's adroit flick-on.

The visitors have a lifeline and Silva will be really pleased with this one. Richarlison is the architect as he rushes forward towards the home box, before shifting a pass out wide for the overlapping run of Doucoure. The midfielder still has a lot of work to do, although he makes great use of some poor closing down from the West Brom defence in order to get the ball out from his feet and lash a standout finish down low past Foster.

What a turn up in intensity from Watford! The Baggies go to sleep slightly as the ball is shifted across the pitch into space for Capoue, who soon sees his wild effort take a deflection and whistle just past Foster's post. The away side are certainly back in with a shout if they can keep this up.

Wasteful from Brunt as the winger gets his chance to deliver into the box from a free kick. He essentially has his whole team waiting for the delivery, only to spoon his effort over everyone inside the box and out for a goal kick.

SHOT! Richarlison is starting to impact on this encounter a little more now and he almost bends a perfect finish into the bottom corner, which has Foster scrambling. Thankfully for the hosts, his shot has just a bit too much on it and goes out for a goal kick.

Two minutes of additional time here in the first half...

So it's the Baggies who take a 2-1 lead into the break after an enthralling first half at the Hawthorns. Watford enjoyed a positive start to this encounter, but some costly defending has allowed the hosts to seize control.

Pulis will be delighted with his side's efficiency in the first period, especially with those two pieces of clinical finishing. All is not lost for Watford, though, having earned themselves a route back into the game courtesy of Doucoure's memorable strike.

You don't expect too many changes at the break given that Silva will likely be impressive with how his side have responded to the two goals. Gray will always be an impactful option and he might come into the fray for the final 30 minutes of this clash. Pulis will be hopeful of his defence holding out here, and the hosts could set themselves up for the counter in the second half.

SECOND HALF! Watford get us moving again here at the Hawthorns...

Watford start the second period with great intent down the right flank as Carrillo turns a cross into the box. Deeney is battling for it, although Hegazi does really well to hold off the striker and head the ball out of danger.

Gibbs has had a quiet spell for WBA in this game but he suddenly springs to life with a marauding run down the left. Femenia puts up some good resistance, though, and is able to scramble the ball away for a corner. The ball is eventually worked to Phillips back inside the area and he jinks onto his right but can only send a tame effort straight at Gomes who gathers easily.

Gibbs does amazingly once more down the left with a mazing run past two men. Rondon makes a brilliant run off the ball, but instead the full-back decides to come inside and is eventually tackled. A little more awareness and he might just have slipped his teammate in there.

CLOSE! What a piece of defending from Barry... West Brom fail to clear their lines and the ball is headed straight to the feet of Capoue on the edge of the box. The midfielder lets fly with a trademark finish, only to see his shot deflected wide of the post by Barry, who prevents an almost certain goal for the visitors.

Barry the human shield at the Hawthorns... West Brom struggle to get things clear again and Capoue is left to act on a loose ball. The curling finish looks destined for the net, before the veteran midfielder again gets in the way of the shot.

SUBSTITUTE: Pulis makes his first change to proceedings as Phillips is replaced by James McClean out wide.

SUBSTITUTES: Pulis makes another swap as Livermore is introduced for Brunt, while Watford introduce Pereyra for Capoue. A slight strange one from Silva given that Capoue can be such a menace from range.

Watford have been good money for finding a way back towards a point here, but you feel those Pulis changes might just make things slightly more rigid as the hosts aim to close up shop.

Richarlison finds himself in space inside the area, but just as he aims to get onto his stronger foot, Evans steals in to make a fine challenge. Watford have enjoyed some positive forays forward, but things just aren't working out at the moment.

Surely Silva will introduce Gray soon? This contest is crying out for the big man as we head into the final embers of the match. Richarlison does really well again going forward, but there is just nobody in the box for him.

SUBSTITUTION: Here we go then, the final change for WBA as Rondon is replaced by Robson-Kanu.

SUBSTITUTION: Gray now enters proceedings as Carrillo comes off. That means Watford will now operate with a front two, which should suit them better as they go in search of a leveller.

The Baggies don't appear too fazed at the moment and they are still breaking forward when required despite the single-goal deficit. Kanu does well after his introduction to earn a cheap free kick in a good area.

Great pressing from the hosts sees them win the ball back just short of the Watford box. A wonderful curling ball is sent into the middle towards Hegazi, although he cannot prosper from a testing battle with Mariappa in the air.

Just under 10 minutes to go, can Watford muster something to keep their unbeaten away record intact?

Pulis is starting to lose his rag on the touchline. The Baggies keep needless giving the ball away and Watford nearly make it count. Richarlison breaks away down the left channel with options inside the box, but once again his delivery comes unstuck and the chance passes. He has got into all of the right areas today only for the final ball to let him and his teammates down.

YELLOW CARDS! Jake Livermore goes into the book for a late challenge on Gray, before the breakaway then sees Evans booked for a late challenge on Pereyra.

The home fans are singing aloud now as they aim to push their team over the finishing line. Some late drama, anyone?

My oh my... They've stolen it right at the death with what is literally the last kick of the game. Richarlison heads home following a needless free kick given away by the Baggies. Pulis is absolutely fuming.
