Watford head coach Quique Flores has declared that he is confident of avoiding Premier League relegation this season.
The Hornets head into the new campaign as bookies' favourites to face the drop back down to the second tier.
However, recently-appointed boss Flores insists that he is happy with what he has seen to date ahead of this weekend's away trip to Everton.
"I have confidence in my players, they are an amazing group and I am happy with their work and they will improve with time," the Spaniard told reporters. "It is important they try and give their best for the first match on Saturday."
Flores took over from Slavisa Jokanovic - the man who led Watford to the Premier League - earlier this summer.
