Watford have confirmed that manager Oscar Garcia is to miss Tuesday's match at Blackpool after being admitted to hospital with "minor chest pains".
The 41-year-old, who joined the Championship side at the start of September, checked in to a medical facility on Sunday before missing training on Monday.
Assistant coaches Ruben Martinez and Javier Pereira will take charge of the team tomorrow night when they make the trip to Bloomfield Road.
"Oscar spent the evening in hospital being assessed by doctors and will undergo further tests today, as a result he will not take the Hornets for the trip to Blackpool tomorrow night," read a statement on the club's official website.
Watford are currently in fourth place in the Championship table following four wins from their opening six games of the season.
