Slavisa Jokanovic has called for improvement from his Watford team, despite thumping Fulham 5-0 in tonight's London derby at Craven Cottage.
Troy Deeney struck a hat-trick as the Hornets ran riot against the 10-man Cottagers, who had goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli sent off after 19 minutes with the score at 1-0.
Watford endured a nightmare run of form in November, losing four successive games, but Jokanovic is delighted to see his troops kick off December in winning fashion. However, he admits that the performance was only "close to perfect".
He told Sky Sports News. "We can be happy. After a bad November we have started December better. It was very close to a perfect performance after some bad results.
"We played a fantastic game. I must to be happy, I expect my players and supporters go home happy.
"In the last few games we did not have control and offered up to many presents. Today we were in control. But in front of us is a big space to improve."
Victory saw the Londoners move sixth in the Championship table.
