The Pozzo family have completed the takeover of Watford after agreeing a deal with current owner Laurence Bassini, according to Sky Sports News.
It was reported earlier this month that the two parties had agreed terms but there were rumours the deal may have fallen through.
However, it seems the Pozzos, who already own Serie A club Udinese and Spanish outfit Granada, have struck a deal and are to be announced as the new owners.
Prospective owner Gino Pozzo has been linked in the Italian press with a move for Gianfranco Zola as new manager of Watford, despite Sean Dyche leading the Hornets to a surprise 11th place in last season's Championship.
