Watford have been charged by the Football Association for failing to control their players following an incident in their Premier League clash against Bournemouth.
The incident occurred in the 82nd minute of the match at Dean Court when referee Michael Oliver awarded a penalty against the Hornets after Etienne Capoue brought down Adam Smith in the area.
The Watford players launched a strong protest against the decision by Oliver, which resulted in the booking of keeper Heurelho Gomes.
A statement from the FA said: "The alleged breach of FA Rule E20 is in relation to surrounding the match official in the 82nd minute of the game against Bournemouth on October 3.
"The club has until 6pm on October 12 to respond to the charge."
Gomes saved the penalty from Glenn Murray as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
