Premier League duo Watford and Stoke City have been hit with fines of £25,000 and £20,000 respectively for failing to control their players during their clash at Vicarage Road towards the end of last month.
The pair were hit with the FA charge following an incident in the latter stages of the Premier League match, which led to Watford captain Troy Deeney picking up a three-game suspension.
Deeney appeared to gouge the cheek of Stoke midfielder Joe Allen following a clash, and despite picking up a yellow card at the time, the Hornets skipper was later charged following a review.
The FA has now revealed that Watford and Stoke have been handed fines for failing to control their players after the incident in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
Darren Fletcher scored the only goal of the match as Stoke picked up all three points in the capital.
