Watford have made an enquiry about Aston Villa's Kortney Hause, according to a report.

Claudio Ranieri's team have conceded 35 goals this season, with only Norwich City and Newcastle United possessing worse defensive records in the Premier League.

The Aston Villa defender has only featured four times in the Premier League this season, and he has yet to play a single minute under Steven Gerrard.

According to Football Insider, Hause is now part of Watford's potential transfer target list, with the Hornets looking to bring in a central defender during the January window.

The 26-year-old is out of contract in the summer, and he has only made 52 appearances since joining the club back in the summer of 2019 from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Watford will be back in action on Saturday when they face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. body check tags ::
