Stoke City finished their Premier League season with a 2-1 win against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.
Gareth McAuley's own goal gave the visitors the lead before Stephane Sessegnon restored parity with a close-range finish in the second half.
Charlie Adam gave his side the win with a superb strike three minutes from time as Mark Hughes's side finished ninth in the divison.
See how it all unfolded below.
That's all from me, a 2-1 win for visitors Stoke, but the real story is elsewhere, as Manchester City's crowning as Premier League champions. I hope you've enjoyed the commentary. That brings an end to a fantastic campaign of Premier League football. Until next season, bye from me.
Well there we have it, Adam's goal stands out in an otherwise fairly tame affair. Stoke have leapfrogged Newcastle to finish ninth while West Brom avoid relegation as Norwich join Cardiff and Fulham.
Sorensen comes and claims the cross though to take the pressure off. Good goalkeeping. Four minutes of added time to be played.
Berahino goes down on the edge of the box, he wants a foul but the referee waves play on. Stoke try to counter but lose it and it comes straight back...
Wonderful stuff from the substitute. He carries 15 yards or so before unleashing a peach of strike with his trusty left foot. Great goal.
CHANCE! Excellent from Anichebe. The powerful striker rides a challenge before hammering it over the bar on the edge of the box.
We've entered the final 10 minutes here, and it's being played at an exhibitions pace really now. The fans are still enjoying themselves however.
The referee has been lenient in the extreme here, he could have dished out at least three yellow cards.
Sessegnon nearly wriggles free of two challenges after Morrison spots him early, but he can't quite manage it after taking a heavy touch.
Craig Dawson has harried Marc Wilson into conceding a corner, but it comes to nothing after a poor delivery. Not a lot happening at the minute.
Brunt clips it in, but Stoke get it clear after Dorrans wins the flick on. The game has gone a bit flat the last five minutes or so.
CHANCE! I'm quite sure which chance to report on, but Arnautovic won it ahead of Foster and he pulled it back to Walters, but he can't quite adjust to shoot into an unguarded net, he squares to a teammate, but the West Brom defence eventually scramble it clear. Schoolby stuff from all involved there.
Anichebe has come for West Brom and he's got Marc Wilson under pressure straight away. West Brom have it high up the pitch...
UPDATE Daniel Sturridge has scored to turn it around for Liverpool 2-1 now. They still need three goals from West Ham though.
CHANCE! Mulumbu strikes the post after a great flick over the top from Berahino. He was unlucky there the midfielder, great effort

Well Ben Foster is having something of a nightmare here. He's tried to clear it and somehow managed to slice it. Luckily he finds a teammate and the goalkeeper gets away with another one.
Lovely move brings about the equaliser. Dorrans finds Morrison and his low cross comes to Sessegnon on the penalty and he guides it into the corner with a measured finish. One each!
Odemwingie runs at the heart of the West Brom defence but he drags his shot well wide. It opened up for him there!
Dorrans again with a sloppy pass forces Brunt to deviate wide left. The Northern Irishman eventually swings the cross in but the momentum has gone.
CHANCE! Walters finds Arnautovic who forces Foster into a decent stop. However, the goalkeeper then bizarrely concedes a corner under no pressure trying to start a quick attack.
Wasteful from Dorrans after Berahino found his teammate 30 yards out. It was three on one on the right-hand side of the box but Dorrans wasted the pass and found nobody.
UPDATE: Is that the title race over? Vincent Kompany puts Manchester City 2-0 up against West Ham. It would be a miracle for Liverpool if they come back to win it now.
Arnautovic finds Muniesa who again has came flying up from the left, the Spanish youngster returns it back and Arnautovic just can't quite find Walters with a lofted ball over the top.
An early corner for West Brom, and it evades everyone and goes behind for a goal kick. Thomas Sorensen was complaining about being fouled after getting nowhere near it. A let off for the goalkeeper, it was an excellent delivery.
West Brom haven't offered much up top, and Pepe Mel may be forced to bring on Victor Anichebe, who is on the bench. The burly frontman would certainly offer a presence that has been lacking in the first half.
Well, what to make of that first half? The atmosphere has been great and West Brom started brightly. However, Stoke eventually started to find their rhythm and they were certainly the better side during the opening half.
UPDATE: Norwich and Arsenal are goalless, while Swansea lead Sunderland 2-0, and Spurs are in control with a 3-0 lead against Aston Villa. That brings you up to date with all the scores on the final day.
UPDATE: Manchester United trail Southampton 1-0, while Cardiff lead Chelsea by the same scoreline. Everton lead Hull, who are perhaps thinking about next week's FA Cup final against Arsenal.
UPDATE: Manchester City are heading for the title. They lead West Ham 1-0, while Liverpool trail Newcastle at the break.
The real stories are elsewhere though, and we'll get you a full half time update once all game reach the break.
Well, there we have, a game that has been played in line with its significance. Stoke have been the better side, and deserve their lead, while West Brom just look like they're praying for final whistle.
Better from West Brom. Sessegnon involved in finding Dawson and then Dorrans, but the midfielder's shot is blocked.
It's all starting to happen here. Gareth McAuley wins it off Nzonzi and carries it up the pitch before he gets into a scuffle with Odemwingie. The Irishman's tackle delights the fans, but Stoke are unhappy about it and the defender goes in the book.
UPDATE: Manchester City have one hand on the Premier League title. Samir Nasri has scored against West Ham.
UPDATE: Spurs have gone 2-0 up against Villa, while Crystal Palace have scored the opening goal against Fulham.
Arnautovic once more, he's pulling the strings here. He gets in acres of space and finds Marc Muniesa who has stormed up from the left, but his cross is cut out.
Stoke are turning it on here, somewhat. Anruatovic finds Walters wide left, he gives it back and the Austrian forward tries to get a shot off before feeding Stephen Ireland, and his shot is blocked for a corner.
Walters manages to slip two defenders and get into the box. He tries to find a teammate, but it is eventually cut out.
Arnautovic is enjoying his afternoon out there and he's just cut inside from 25 yards out, but his shot is poor and he drags it well wide.
Morrison is released down the right and he eventually finds Berahino in field. The youngster tries to find Sessegnon but the pass is poor and straight to a Stoke man. Not a whole lost happening for Pepe Mel's side here.
Berahino and Sessegnon try and combine on the edge of the box, but Stoke eventually harry them out of it. The visitors are looking the most dangerous going forward here.
Craig Dawson arrives late and almost gets on the end of James Morrison's cross. He was unlucky there.
The goal hasn't dampened spirits though, they are still loving their afternoon at The Hawthorns. Odemwingie nearly gets finds a teammate inside the area, but West Brom get it behind for a corner.
Stoke are exerting the pressure now and a lot of it is coming from the right side where Chris Brunt looks uncomfortable at left-back.
Wonderful play from Arnautovic as he cuts it back across goal for the cross, but it comes off the Irish defender to sneak in at Ben Foster's near post. Cruel luck for the centre-back.
Right that brings you up to date, back to this game, and Morgan Amalfitano almost managed to squeeze through before he is halted. Sessegnon embarks on a mazy run but dithers and loses it 30 yards out.
UPDATE: Luis Suarez has had an outrageous goal ruled out at Anfield. The Liverpool striker took a quick free kick to catch Tim Krul out but the referee rules it out.
Lovely play from Dorrans as he shapes to shoot before dragging it on to his left side twice. He eventually does pull the tirgger but it's blocked. Odemwingie gets it up the other end but his shot goes wide, much to the delight of the West Brom fans. He'll be eager for a goal today you feel.
There has to be goals in this, we've had some great chances from both sides already! West Brom's last game of the season was a 5-5 draw against Manchester United, we'd settle for that today!
CHANCE! Should be 1-0 to Stoke. Great ball from Cameron but Jon Walters misses a fairly routine header from around six yards out. Big miss from the Stoke striker.
A replay of Sessegnon's miss shows that it actually came off Steven Nzonzi. The goal-decision system shows it didn't go over the line.
UPDATE: Elsewhere, there's been a goal at the Stadium of Light. Swansea City have taken the lead against Sunderland.
Graham Dorrans hits long-range effort that sails miles over! It was ambitious, and it never looked like causing any trouble to the Stoke goal.
Chris Brunt gets some space inside the area and squeezes in a low cross. Stoke eventually scramble it behind from a corner. It comes to nothing but that's their third so far. The Potters are on the back foot here.
Nice play from Arnautovic finds Cameron with a raking long ball across the pitch. Odemwingie is bieng mercilessly booed with his every touch.
My word, that is a terrible miss from the Benin international. He turned and swung from close range and he hit the bar.
CHANCE! How has Sessegnon missed? He was all of a yard out and somehow he has hit the crossbar and it has bounced down and hasn't gone over the line. They really look up for it West Brom.
PREDICTION: I'm going to with a 2-1 win for the visitors. Marko Arnautovic has been in inspired form of late, and I think the Austrian will be key for his side this afternoon.
We're about five minutes away from kick off, as mentioned, not a whole lot resting on this one, so hopefully we'll get an entertaining game.
Hughes's side arrive at The Hawthorns fresh from last week's 4-1 hammering of Fulham, and they have lost just two of their last 10 games.
Back to this game, and the Baggies haven't won since they beat Norwich 1-0 back on April 5, but come full time this evening, what a big three points that will have been.
Some interesting rumours coming out of Carrow Road. Ricky van Wolfswinkel has reportedly stormed out in protest of being omitted from Norwich's matchday squad. The Dutchman has scored just once since his big-money move last summer.
Both teams played out a goalless draw earlier in the season, hopefully this will be in stark contrast to that game. Stoke will be looking to sneak above Newcastle, while as mentioned, West Brom are highly unlikely to be relegated.
Plenty of speculation has surrounded Pepe Mel's future in the build-up to this one. The Spaniard only arrived in January, but he could be out a job once the curtain comes down on this campaign.
"His time there didn't end as he would have liked. It was acrimonious but I'm sure he will deal with any stick that is directed at him."
"I'm sure Peter will view it that way. He's an exceptional player and, yes, I'm aware that there may be some focus on him.
"In my experience, more often than not when you get stick at an away ground, it means maybe the supporters are frightened of you and what you can do," the Stoke boss told reporters.
An interesting subplot is the return of Peter Odemwingie to West Brom. The Nigerian striker left in acrimonious circumstances, but Mark Hughes thinks his player will be prepared for any backlash.
We will of course keep you updated of important incidents elsewhere, particularly at the top of the table where it can be won and lost this afternoon.
In terms of final day drama though, there's not a whole lot riding on this one. End of season games can be a mixed bag, and we'll be hoping that both teams' freedom will give us an entertaining spectacle this afternoon.
Meanwhile, it has been a great season for Stoke. They adjusted well to life after Tony Pulis, and won a few admirers with their subtle change of approach. The Potters have retained their famous battling characteristics, but the likes of Oussama Assaidi and Marko Arnautovic have added some silk to the steel.
Steve Clarke was sacked in December with Keith Downing taking charge until Pepe Mel took over at the beginning of the year. There has also been the controversy surrounding Nicolas Anelka's quenelle gesture. However, it's looking like it will at least have a happy ending with Premier League survival.
Cardiff City, Fulham are of course already relegated, while Norwich are expected to join them this afternoon. It's been a strange season West Brom this term though...
Roberto Martinez has overseen a successful transition at Everton, while Tony Pulis has dragged unfancied Crystal Palace to the dizzy heights of 11th.
Whatever transpires this afternoon, it has been a truly remarkable season. We've seen Manchester United slip to a lowest-ever Premier League finish, while Liverpool have gone from Champions League outsiders to bona-fide title challengers...
Stoke: Sorensen; Muniesa, Shawcross, Wilson, Cameron; Arnautovic, Whelan, Nzonzi, Odemwingie; Ireland, Walters
West Brom: Foster; Dawson, McAuley, Olsson, Brunt; Dorrans, Mulumbu, Morrison, Amalfitano; Sessegnon, Berahino
The Baggies' 2-0 defeat to Sunderland has left them sweating somewhat on the final day, but their vastly superior goal difference over Norwich City virtually guarantees their safety for another season.
Good afternoon and welcome to Sports Mole's live commentary of West Bromwich Albion's clash with Stoke City in the Premier League.
