West Bromwich Albion striker Marc-Antoine Fortune has admitted that he considered leaving the Baggies earlier in the season.
Fortune, 30, spent a period on loan at Doncaster Rovers in November after becoming frustrated at his playing time at the Hawthorns.
He has since regained his place in Roy Hodgson's team, however, and has played a key role in their recent run of form.
"When I was not playing it was a hard for me. In my first spell at West Brom I played every game and felt I did well. I came back from Celtic because I like this club, but when you come back and are not the first-choice striker, it is hard," Fortune told Sky Sports News.
"When you don't play you sometimes have these feelings that you want to move on... now it's a pleasure to play football again."
West Bromwich Albion sit 13th in the Premier League table.
